The HR Manager/Generalist will lead and manage the full employee life cycle within a fast-paced medical or pharmaceutical setting. This role balances strategic HR planning—such as workforce planning and employer branding—with day-to-day operational HR tasks. The ideal candidate ensures a positive, inclusive work culture while rigidly adhering to strict healthcare and labor regulations
Core Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
· Manage end-to-end recruitment pipelines for specialized roles, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and research/sales professionals.
· Facilitate onboarding and comprehensive induction programs tailored to clinical/pharma standards.
· Develop and update job descriptions for all specialized medical and non-medical positions.
· 2. Compliance & Risk Management
· Ensure 100% compliance with local labor laws, industry regulations (e.g., FDA for pharma, NABH/JCI for hospitals), and health/safety standards.
· Coordinate regular regulatory audits, tracking employee credentialing, and managing risk management procedures.
· Oversee statutory requirements like Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and gratuity. [
· 3. Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
· Act as the primary liaison between management and staff, addressing queries, grievances, and disputes effectively.
· Nurture a positive, inclusive workplace workplace conducive to patient care and research innovation.
· Develop and implement employee engagement, wellness,
and recognition programs.
4. Performance & Talent Management
· Oversee the performance appraisal process, aligning individual employee goals with the hospital or pharmaceutical company’s broader objectives.
· Identify skill gaps and organize continuous training and development programs (e.g., compliance training, soft skills).
· Support management with succession planning and leadership development.
5. Payroll, Compensation & Administration
· Collaborate with the finance and HR teams to process payroll, verify attendance, and manage overtime/leave records.
· Administer employee compensation, benefits programs, and health insurance plans.
· Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) databases, and generate data-driven reports for leadership.
Qualifications & Skills Required
· Education: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3 to 7+ years of HR Generalist or HR Management experience, preferably within a hospital, healthcare, or pharmaceutical setting.
· Compliance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and medical/pharmaceutical statutory compliance
· Soft Skills: Exceptional emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, problem-solving capabilities, and strong verbal/written communication skills
Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month
