Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Parlor Staff role based in Chandigarh.

The Parlor

Staff member will greet guests, take and process orders, prepare and serve ice creams, sundaes, shakes, and other menu items according to brand standards. The role includes maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the serving area, dining space, and back-of-house, as well as restocking inventory and ensuring proper storage of products. The individual will handle billing and cash/card transactions accurately, follow standard operating procedures for food safety,



and support opening and closing duties. The role also involves assisting with in-store promotions, responding to guest queries, and contributing to a friendly, efficient, and guest-focused setting.

Qualifications

- Customer service skills, including polite interaction with guests, attentive listening, and a helpful, welcoming attitude.
- Basic food handling and hygiene awareness, with the ability to follow safety and cleanliness guidelines consistently.
- Cash handling and basic numeracy skills to manage billing, point-of-sale systems, and simple reconciliations.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with other parlor team members and supervisors.
- Time management and multitasking ability to handle rush hours, prioritize tasks, and maintain service quality.
- Good verbal communication skills in English and local languages as needed for guest interaction.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as per parlor requirements.
- Previous experience in food service, QSR, or retail is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school completion or equivalent is preferred.
