Position - Kindergarten Coordinator

Location - YS Public School, Barnala, Punjab

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership

- Lead and oversee the Kindergarten Wing (Playway to UKG).
- Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum and pedagogical practices.
- Monitor lesson planning, classroom transactions, and learning outcomes.
- Introduce innovative teaching-learning strategies suitable for early years education.
- Ensure age-appropriate skill development in literacy, numeracy, communication, and social-emotional learning.

Team Management

- Guide, mentor, and support Kindergarten teachers and support staff.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Organize training sessions and professional development programs for teachers.
- Foster a cooperative and positive work culture within the wing.

Student Development

- Monitor the overall growth and well-being of students.
- Ensure a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment.
- Promote activities that support cognitive, physical, emotional, social, and creative development.

Parent Engagement

- Build strong relationships with parents.
- Conduct parent orientation sessions, workshops, and meetings.
- Address parent concerns professionally and proactively.
- Ensure effective communication regarding student progress and school initiatives.

Administration & Operations

- Coordinate events, celebrations, assemblies, and special programs.
- Maintain academic records and documentation.




- Ensure adherence to school policies and quality standards.
- Work closely with school leadership to achieve institutional goals.

Eligibility Criteria

- Master's Degree in any discipline.
- B.Ed./NTT/ECCE or relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Kindergarten/Early Years.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or coordination role preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in technology-enabled teaching and school management practices.

Compensation Salary: Negotiable and commensurate with qualifications, experience, and demonstrated leadership abilities.
