Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Dentist role based in Kumbakonam.

The General

Dentist will diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions, including preventive, restorative, and basic endodontic and prosthodontic procedures. Daily responsibilities include performing comprehensive oral examinations, developing treatment plans, delivering high-quality clinical care, and educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care. The role involves collaborating with dental assistants and other team members to ensure safe, efficient, and comfortable patient experiences.

Dentist will also maintain accurate clinical records, follow strict infection control protocols, and contribute to a positive and professional clinic setting.

Qualifications

Valid BDS degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution and current dental license/registration as required by local regulations.

Demonstrated proficiency in routine restorative, preventive, and emergency dental procedures.

Robust diagnostic skills, including comprehensive examination, treatment planning, and patient education.

Commitment to strict infection control, sterilization practices, and clinical safety standards.

Excellent chairside manner, with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff in a fast-paced practice.

Willingness to stay current with advances in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.

Previous clinical experience in a general dental practice is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated early-career dentists.
