Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Sales Executive role based in Zirakpur.
The Field Sales
Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, meeting prospective clients, and promoting Dovetail Solutions’ Tally, SalesVera, DovePharma, and digital services. Day-to-day activities include visiting clients, conducting product demos, understanding customer requirements, and recommending suitable solutions. The role involves managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals, negotiating pricing and terms, and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
The Field Sales
Executive will also maintain regular follow-ups, provide basic product guidance, coordinate with internal technical and implementation teams, and report sales activities and market feedback to management.
Qualifications
Proven skills in field sales, B2B selling, lead generation, and client relationship management.
Ability to conduct product presentations, deliver demonstrations, and handle basic technical queries about software solutions.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on consultative selling.
Basic understanding of business software (e.g., ERP, accounting, CRM) and an interest in digital transformation and SaaS solutions.
Comfortable with on-the-ground travel in and around Dera Bassi to meet clients and prospects.
Valuable organizational and reporting skills, including managing a sales funnel and maintaining accurate documentation.
Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Previous experience selling software, IT services, or digital marketing solutions is preferred but not mandatory.
Self-motivated, target-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
