Position Summary The Project Engineer / Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing environmental projects related to Waste-to-Energy, Biogas Plants, STP, ETP, and Liquid Waste Management Systems. The role includes project report preparation, technical proposal development, tendering, engineering and design coordination, client presentations, project execution support, and liaison with consultants, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Preparation

- Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), feasibility studies, and technical proposals.
- Develop project concepts, layouts, process flow diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Prepare project cost estimates, BOQs, and budget analysis.
- Support project planning from concept to commissioning.

Environmental Projects

- Waste-to-Energy Projects
- Biogas Plant Projects
- Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)
- Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP)

Engineering & Design Coordination

- Coordinate with design engineers, consultants, architects, and vendors.
- Review engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project requirements.
- Assist in equipment selection and process design reviews.

Tendering & Proposal Management

- Identify and monitor government and private tenders.
- Prepare tender documents, technical bids, commercial bids, and compliance statements.
- Coordinate with internal teams for tender submissions.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and technical discussions.

Client Coordination & Presentations





- Conduct technical presentations and project demonstrations for clients.
- Prepare project presentations, reports, and proposal documents.
- Coordinate with government departments, consultants, industries, institutions, and corporate clients.
- Attend client meetings and provide technical support.

Project Execution & Monitoring

- Coordinate project implementation activities.
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure quality standards and project timelines are maintained.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain project documentation and records.
- Prepare progress reports, MIS reports, and project status updates.
- Support management with project reviews and performance tracking.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech (Environmental Engineering / Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering)
- Diploma candidates with relevant experience may also apply.

Experience

- 3 to 5 years of experience in Environmental Infrastructure, Waste Management, STP, ETP, Biogas, or related projects.

Location Nungambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Travel Requirement

Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings, project inspections, and project coordination activities.

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
