The State Head Sales is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the entire General Trade sales strategy and execution for GM Modular's product portfolio (Switches, Lights, Wires & Cables) across the state of Tamil Nadu. This role is accountable for expanding distribution networks, managing channel partners, and building a high-performance sales team across the state.
- Develop and implement the annual state-level sales plan aligned with company targets for switches, lights, wires, and cables.
- Identify recent revenue opportunities in emerging geographies and underpenetrated markets within Tamil Nadu.
- Appoint, manage, and develop a robust distributor and dealer network across all districts of Tamil Nadu.
- Market Development & Brand building
- Forecasting, Reporting & MIS
- Commercial & Credit Management
Preferred candidate profile
- 12-18 years of total experience in sales, with at least 2- 4 years in a State Head or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven track record in General Trade sales within the electrical, lighting, or consumer durables industry.
- Prior experience managing Tamil Nadu or South India territory is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience managing large distribution networks, channel partners, and multi-product portfolios.
- Bachelor's degree or any relevant discipline
