Role & responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate catalog records.
- Help users locate information and library materials.
- Answer reference and research questions.
- Encourage reading habits among students and community members.
- Maintain library policies and procedures.
- Monitor library usage and prepare reports.
- Protect books and other materials from damage or loss.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science (B.Lib.Sc.) or Library and Information Science from a recognized institution.
- Master's degree in Library Science (M.Lib.Sc.) preferred.
- Candidate should be based in or around Kotdwar, Uttarakhand, or be willing to relocate to Kotdwar before joining.
- Preference will be given to local candidates who can join immediately.
- Knowledge of library classification and cataloging systems.
