Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Oncologist to join our Cancer & Superspeciality Hospital in Junagadh, Gujarat. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, staging, and surgically treating various cancers while working closely with a multidisciplinary oncology team to provide comprehensive cancer care. Surgical oncologists typically lead tumor resections, cancer surgeries, treatment planning, and perioperative patient management.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with solid tumors and cancer-related conditions.
- Perform oncological surgeries,
including complex tumor resections and cancer management procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and treatment planning.
- Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, and Radiology teams.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to quality standards.
- Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options and outcomes.
- Participate in academic activities, research, and clinical audits.
