Role Overview
As a Website Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications. You should have a solid understanding of modern web development frameworks and best practices, ensuring that deliverables are optimized for performance, security, and accessibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement responsive websites using technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry standards
- Implement front-end interfaces with a focus on usability, accessibility, and performance
- Develop and integrate back-end functionalities, APIs, and database systems using Node.js, PHP, or Python
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across all platforms
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in existing websites and applications
- Optimize website performance including load times, SEO, and core web vitals
- Conduct regular website audits, apply security patches, and ensure system resilience
- Manage version control and collaborate effectively using Git




- Work closely with designers, content teams, and stakeholders to fulfill project goals
- Provide mentorship to junior developers and stay updated with latest web development trends
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in website development
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular
- Strong experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or Python
- Hands-on experience with popular CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla
- Working knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS
- Familiarity with web security best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields is preferred
- A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant experience
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles and web analytics tools
