Role & responsibilities
Interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
Plan and execute fabrication activities as per production schedule.
Supervise fabrication of structural, piping, and mechanical components.
Monitor welding quality, fit-up, dimensional accuracy, and assembly activities.
Ensure adherence to ASME, AWS, ISO, and customer standards.
Coordinate with QA/QC, Planning, Design, and Procurement teams.
Improve productivity, reduce rework, and optimize fabrication cycle time.
Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and inspection readiness.
Monitor manpower deployment and machine utilization.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Maintain strict compliance with HSE and safety guidelines.
Support inventory monitoring and fabrication consumable control.




Train shop floor teams on fabrication practices and safety procedures.

Preferred candidate profile
Solid knowledge of cutting, welding, bending, fitting, and assembly processes
Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols
Understanding of GD&T; and fabrication standards
Knowledge of fabrication inspection and quality practices
Familiarity with structural fabrication and heavy engineering operations
