Green Worms is conducting a field-based study to understand the attitudes and behaviors of households towards their current waste management practices across 7 panchayaths in Kottayam and Alappuzha districts We invite motivated students and individuals to join our team as Field Survey Interns to support this initiative Key Responsibilities Conduct household-level surveys in assigned panchayaths Interact with residents to collect qualitative and quantitative data on waste management practices Document and compile survey responses accurately Prepare individual panchayath-wise reports summarizing key findings Develop a consolidated report for submission to Green Worms Participate in orientation and debriefing sessions as required Preferred Qualifications Students from Environmental Science Social Work or related disciplines are highly encouraged to apply Candidates residing in or familiar with Kottayam and Alappuzha districts will be given preference Demonstrated interest in solid waste management or sustainability initiatives Skills Required Robust survey and data collection skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Good documentation and reporting skills Ability to work independently and travel within assigned areas Proficient in MS Office Word Excel PowerPoint Deliverables Panchayath-wise survey reports A consolidated summary report for Green Worms highlighting overall findings and insights Duration Mode Period 30 days 15-18 days field-based Mode On-site field engagement across selected panchayaths Location Selected Panchayaths in Kottayam Alappuzha Districts Stipend Benefits Stipend and internship certificate upon successful completion Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community engagement and waste management research How to Apply Interested candidates may send their CV to career greenworms org Job Type Internship Pay Up to 8 000 00 per month Work Location In person
