Role & responsibilities
About the Company:
Balaji Product is a rapid-growing FMCG home-care manufacturer, known for our flagship brands Balaji Plus Washing Powder and B-20 Premium Detergent. We are expanding our footprint in Uttar Pradesh and looking for a dynamic field sales professional for the Aligarh territory.
Role Objective:
Drive volume growth, manage end-to-end sales, and aggressively expand the distributor network for Balaji Plus Washing Powder across Aligarh city and neighbouring markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary & Secondary Sales: Take complete ownership of achieving monthly primary (billing) and secondary (liquidation) sales targets.
- Distributor Expansion: Identify, pitch to, and appoint new, financially stable distributors and super-stockists in unmapped rural and urban clusters.
- Market Coverage: Follow a disciplined Permanent Journey Plan (PJP) to personally visit Kirana stores, general merchants, and wholesalers daily.
- Payment Collections:
Ensure smooth outstanding management with zero payment defaults from the market.
- Reporting: Track and submit daily market stock updates and competitor activity reports.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hardcore field sales experience in FMCG (candidates from Soaps, Detergents, or Personal Care are highly preferred).
- Territory Knowledge: Deep geographical awareness of Aligarh (including areas like Khair, Atrauli, Iglas, Gabhana, Tappal) and active contacts with local FMCG distributors.
- Assets: Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license for daily market beats.
- Skills: High energy, fluent Hindi communication, and strong merchant negotiation skills.
