Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PRT Math role based in Nalgonda.

The Primary

Teacher (Math) will teach mathematics concepts to primary-grade learners using clear explanations, age-appropriate methods, and engaging activities.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering daily lesson plans, preparing teaching aids, assigning and assessing classwork and homework, and providing constructive feedback to students. The role involves maintaining accurate student records, tracking progress, and communicating regularly with parents or guardians about academic and behavioral development. The teacher will participate in staff meetings,



school events, examinations, and professional development sessions, and is expected to maintain a protected, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment aligned with the school’s policies.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge of primary-level mathematics concepts and ability to simplify topics for young learners.
- Strong classroom management, lesson planning, and student assessment skills.
- Effective communication skills in English, with clear and child-friendly explanation abilities.
- Competence in using basic educational technology and digital tools for teaching and reporting.
- Ability to create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for diverse learners.
- Recognized teaching qualification such as D.El.Ed, B.Ed, or equivalent, with a focus on primary education or mathematics.
- Prior experience teaching mathematics at the primary level in a school setting is preferred.
- Willingness to participate in school events, co-curricular activities, and ongoing professional development.
