Role & responsibilities:

- Supervise and guide Sales Officers (SOs) in the area, driving primary & secondary sales targets, activation and assigned tasks for the region

- Effective detailing of Pharma Rx products detailing to rural HCPs and healthcare providers.

- Promote Rx products to doctors, healthcare providers in assigned rural territories

- Educate rural healthcare stakeholders of recent innovation/trends in healthcare through scientific marketing

- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with medical practitioners and rural healthcare stakeholders.

- Conduct regular field visits and ensure effective product communication through face to face meetings, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), and promotional activities

- Achieve primary & sales and secondary sales targets

- Organize doctor engagement programs and health awareness initiatives tailored to local needs.

- Ensure targeted brandwise coverage and penetration

- Implement and monitor trade activations and schemes

- Focus on Frontline rep training and development of team

- Develop and maintain healthy trade relations

- Undergo brand-level focused training and development, guide SOs to formulate an effective detailing strategy

- Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous learning

- Conduct Bottom-up sales forecasting & planning.

- Timely processing and forwarding the claims

- Ensuring timely and accurate reporting of sales and market activities

- Liaison with HQ for any query resolution from field SOs

- Maintaining high standards of Market Hygiene





- Monitoring stock holding at distributor level to ensure freshness of stocks

- Effectively carry out market survey and/or any other assigned activities in market. Tap local rural trends and relay feedback to managers with actionable insights at brand level

- Train and mentor SOs ensuring holistic growth & development

Preferred candidate profile:

- Graduate

- BSc BPharm (Preferred)

- MBA Post Graduate

- Total Experience: Above 36 years of age with Minimum 2+ years of experience as a first line manager

- Prior exposure & familiarity with relevant geographies and portfolio is preferred

- Proficiency in the local dialect language is preferred.

- Robust understanding of local customs, healthcare practices, and rural patient needs.

- Experience with reputed Pharma companies

- Proven success as FLM of continually surpassing sales targets

- Strong local engagement, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of rural healthcare dynamics

- Prior exposure and familiarity with relevant HQ as FLM and SO and adjacent areas is preferred

- Strong foundation in sales operations with a proven track record in direct sales

- Expertise in managing stockists, distributor and frontline sales team.

- Demonstrate skills in Rx detailing, selling and merchandizing

- Computer literacy and efficiency to report online and analyze reports

- Constant market working drive and high motivational levels

- Excellent market relationship management

- Constant drive and high motivational levels

- Should be open to relocation across the country

- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
