Position: Business Head – Tiles & Ceramic Division

Company: Saurashtra Group

Salary Range: ₹50,000 – ₹80,000 per month

Reporting To: Managing Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Business Head – Tiles & Ceramic Division to lead and manage both the retail business (La Optionz) and distribution business (Ayma) in Bhavnagar. The role demands strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and proven expertise in driving sales, expanding market share, and managing end-to-end business operations in the tiles and ceramic segment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and drive the overall P&L; of both retail (La Optionz) and distribution (Ayma) businesses, ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
- Drive overall sales growth through market expansion, channel development, customer acquisition, and strategic business development initiatives.
- Identify and develop new market opportunities, retail locations, dealer networks, partnerships, and expansion avenues to increase business footprint.
- Establish annual business plans, budgets, sales forecasts, and performance targets for both retail and distribution divisions.
- Monitor key business performance metrics and take proactive corrective actions to improve sales, margins, inventory turnover, and profitability.
- Lead and manage Store Managers, Sales Teams, and Distribution Teams, ensuring accountability, performance management, and succession planning.
- Build a strong high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, performance tracking, and leadership development.
- Review and optimize pricing strategy, product mix, schemes, discounts, and customer engagement initiatives to maximize business performance.
- Ensure effective inventory planning, stock movement, and supply chain coordination to avoid stock-outs, overstocking, and working capital blockage.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Marketing, Finance, HR,



and Operations teams for seamless execution of business strategies and objectives.
- Work closely with the Finance & Accounts team to monitor budgets, cash flow, collections, profitability analysis, and financial discipline.
- Establish and enforce SOPs, governance frameworks, and operational controls across all retail outlets and distribution channels.
- Review business performance through regular MIS reports, dashboards, and market intelligence, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Drive customer satisfaction, brand positioning, and service excellence across all retail and distribution touchpoints.
- Lead negotiations with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and strategic partners to ensure favorable commercial terms and long-term business benefits.
- Present periodic business performance reviews, growth plans, and strategic updates to the management team.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, legal, financial, and company policies across all business operations.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum 10 years of experience in Tiles, Ceramic, or Building Materials industry
- Solid exposure to both retail showroom management and distribution network handling
- Proven track record of revenue growth and team leadership
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
- Deep understanding of Bhavnagar and Gujarat market
- Ability to handle multi-vertical business operations independently

- Strong dealer/distributor network in building materials segment
- Experience working with architects, builders, and infrastructure companies
- High ownership mindset and execution capability

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
