Role & responsibilities :
Maintain accurate catalog records.
Help users locate information and library materials.
Answer reference and research questions.
Encourage reading habits among students and community members.
Maintain library policies and procedures.
Monitor library usage and prepare reports.
Protect books and other materials from damage or loss.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Library Science (B.Lib.Sc.) or Library and Information Science from a recognized institution.
Master's degree in Library Science (M.Lib.Sc.) preferred.
Candidate should be based in or around Kotdwar, Uttarakhand, or be willing to relocate to Kotdwar before joining.
Preference will be given to local candidates who can join immediately.
Knowledge of library classification and cataloging systems.
