Job Summary
Responsible for managing the sales in Eastern region India (West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Jharkhand, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura). This will include the management of key end customers, OEMs and specialist channel partners. The incumbent in this role will be expected to work under the supervision / guidance of west business in charge towards defined key goals including Sales turnover, profitability, new product growth and key territory growth.
Responsibilities
- To explore new customers, applications and markets.
- Understand the application process and generate new inquiries for Blowers.
- Provide techno- commercial support to all the customers.
- Handle Supervise channel partners and customers in West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Jharkhand, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura and expand the business through channels.
- Prepare weekly visit plans with a view to serving all the existing customers and to adding new customers to the portfolio.
- Prepare monthly sales projections in view of annual sales targets.
- To retain all the existing customers and focus on generating more revenue from them.
- To provide after-sales support to the customers in close coordination with the service team.
- Keep close eye on the competitors activities and develop implement sound strategy to counter competition
Basic Qualifications
- BE/ B-Tech- Mechanical.
- 4-8 yrs experience in sales and marketing in water and wastewater segment.
- Strong verbal or written communication skills.
Travel Work Arrangements/Requirements
Hybrid covering the Eastern Region of India
Key Competencies
- A Sales Business Development Skilled, preferably holding a degree in BE or B-Tech (Mechanical engineers will be preferred).
- 4-8 yearsexperience of selling, preferably working for companies within the Industrial manufactured products sales vertically.
- Will demonstrate a sound understanding of the Industrial Sales market in West Bengal, Odisha, Assam, Jharkhand states customers as well as the key issues affecting the markets. Will also have demonstrable experience in working with these markets and a deep understanding of the decision-making process and the complex nature of the major projects.
- Must be strong in Negotiation with Customers.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Hindi is essential.
- A high degree of competence in presentation and customer handling is required.
- Must have sound knowledge of MS. Office
- Must be comfortable with CRM tools like ZOHO, Salesforce etc.
