Job Title: Senior Manager – Procurement

Company: Saurashtra Multiventures Private Limited

Location: Bhavnagar, Gujrat

Salary Range: ₹ 35,000 - ₹ 40,000

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Manager – Procurement to lead procurement operations, vendor management, commercial negotiations, and cost optimization across the group businesses. The role will be responsible for ensuring timely procurement, strategic sourcing, competitive negotiations, contract management, and solid coordination with internal departments to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities across businesses
- Handle vendor sourcing, evaluation, and onboarding
- Lead commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and contracts
- Finalize purchase orders, agreements, and commercial terms
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and services
- Compare quotations and identify cost-effective purchasing opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Monitor vendor performance and service quality
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Projects, and Stores teams
- Implement procurement SOPs and approval workflows
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
- Track procurement timelines, pending orders, and deliveries
- Prepare procurement MIS, cost analysis, and commercial reports
- Ensure compliance with company policies and commercial standards




- Support centralized procurement and commercial operations across group companies

Required Skills & Competencies

- Knowledge of procurement processes and commercial documentation
- Cost analysis and budgeting skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Leadership and team management capability
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tracking tools

Qualification

- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Finance preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in Procurement, Commercial Operations, or Supply Chain Management
- Experience in handling multi-category procurement and vendor negotiations

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Strong leadership and ownership mindset
- Ability to handle pressure and multiple priorities
- Process-oriented and commercially driven
- Experience in centralized procurement systems is an added advantage
- Capable of building scalable procurement and commercial processes

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
