Role Description The QC Manager for Nutraceutical Dietary Supplements / Food Supplements will oversee all quality control activities to ensure products meet internal standards and regulatory requirements. This full-time, on-site role in Perambalur involves managing laboratory testing, reviewing analytical data, supervising QC staff, and maintaining documentation related to raw materials, in-process checks, and finished goods release. The QC Manager will establish and monitor quality control procedures, coordinate with production and R&D; teams to resolve deviations, and support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions. The role includes implementing and maintaining cGMP, HACCP, and other relevant quality systems, conducting internal audits, and preparing for external inspections and certifications. The QC Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives,



training team members on QC protocols, and ensuring alignment with both local and international regulatory standards.

Qualifications
Strong expertise in quality control and quality assurance for nutraceuticals, food supplements, or pharmaceutical products, including method validation, stability studies, and batch release processes.
Hands-on experience with analytical techniques and laboratory operations (e.g., HPLC, UV-Vis, microbiological testing, and routine physico-chemical analysis) and familiarity with laboratory safety practices.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks such as FSSAI, USDA Organic standards, GMP, HACCP, and other relevant national and international guidelines applicable to nutraceutical manufacturing.
Proficiency in documentation, SOP development, deviation handling, CAPA management, and audit preparation, with strong attention to detail and data integrity.
Effective leadership and team management skills, including staff supervision, training, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration with Production, R&D;, and Regulatory teams.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with capability to investigate quality issues, interpret test results, and recommend improvements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to prepare clear reports, quality summaries, and regulatory documentation.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Technology,
