Gyanberry is continually expanding its global reach and services to better support aspiring medical professionals.Role Description The Student Counselor role is a full time remote position focused on supporting prospective medical students through every stage of their admissions journey. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, understanding students’ academic backgrounds and goals, and advising on suitable medical universities and programs worldwide. The counselor will guide students through application requirements, timelines, and documentation, and respond to inquiries via email, phone, and virtual meetings. The role also involves maintaining accurate student records, following up on leads,



and collaborating with internal teams to improve counseling processes and resources. The counselor is expected to provide clear, unbiased guidance and uphold high standards of professionalism and student care.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide students on suitable medical education pathways.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to handle student and parent queries with patience, empathy, and professionalism.Candidates should possess a good understanding of Education systems, preferably with exposure to international higher education or medical admissions.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field are preferred.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple students and deadlines in a remote work setting.Comfort with using digital tools and online platforms for counseling, documentation, and communication.Prior experience in academic advising, admissions, or student support services is beneficial.
