GDS EY-P - Strategy Execution (SE) - DM - Healthcare Assistant Manager- India

Within EY-P, SE DM team services clients with a full range of hands-on, operationally focused support and advice across the transaction life cycle, across buyers and sellers. We cover a wide range of operational aspects, including divestiture advisory services, carve-out readiness and support, operational due diligence, synergy assessment and delivery, day-one readiness assessment, 100-day planning, integration process support, carve-out/stand-alone costs assessment and risks, and cost reduction. Our professionals work on transactions and business development across the globe.

The chance

We're looking for folks with an understanding of MA life cycle, carve-out / integration of a business post-announcement of transaction, cross-border MA for US Healthcare sector. Your key responsibilities

- Understanding of US Healthcare sector, including, value chain, industry structure, key performance indicators, regulations governing the sector
- Adept at using data analysis and visualization tools to present key insights for client meetings
- Demonstrate excellent skills in project execution, including synergy assessment, project management, problem-solving, and facilitation
- Build relationships with key EY Healthcare PPEDs in the U. Responsible for high degree of GDS user satisfaction with engagement process and work products
- Identify and assist in business development activities including preparing presentations for client and internal pursuit meetings
- Support execution of the carve-out / integration plan while working to constantly identify areas for improvement, including resolving integration issues
- Create work products documenting the engagement procedures performed against objectives




- Manage client engagement teams executing SE DM services which support key decision makers in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value
- Provide guidance on projects and mentor a team of SE DM professionals
- Conduct timely performance reviews for employees and develop other professionals by providing effective performance feedback and training

Skills and attributes for success

- Possess financial analysis experience from a number of pre- and post-deal transactions, with the ability to link detailed operational analysis to PL, cash flow and balance sheet
- In-depth sector and company decks providing insights as per the EY Capital Agenda approach
- Understanding of MA life cycle, carve-out / integration of a business post-announcement of transaction, cross-border MA
- Talent to adapt to new challenges and ideas
- Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

To qualify for the role, you must have

- Post Graduate degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, business, accounting, finance, engineering, computer science or related field from a premier institute with 6-8 years of applicable industry (US Healthcare) and/or consulting experience
- Techno-functional experience of Finance Accounting domain to undertake accounting, reporting and other financial analysis related work
- Well versed with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools, such as PowerBI/Visio etc.
- Willingness to undertake international travel as per business requirement
