Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Legal Counsel to manage the company's legal matters related to real estate and redevelopment projects. The ideal candidate should have expertise in title due diligence, redevelopment, land acquisition, contract management, litigation, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct title due diligence, prepare title search reports, identify legal risks, and verify land and property documents.
- Handle legal aspects of redevelopment projects, land acquisition, joint development, and property transactions.
- Draft, review, vet, and negotiate Development Agreements, PAAA, JDAs, MOUs, NDAs, Sale Deeds, Conveyance Deeds, Lease Deeds, Powers of Attorney, vendor agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with RERA, MOFA, Transfer of Property Act, Companies Act, labour laws, and other applicable statutory regulations.
- Maintain legal records, title documents, agreements, and project-wise documentation.
- Provide legal support to internal departments, including Projects, Sales, CRM, Finance, HR, and Procurement.
- Provide legal advice to management on business decisions and risk mitigation.




- Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, and government authorities on legal matters.
- Assist in resolving customer legal queries related to agreements, registrations, possession, and documentation.
- Liaise with government departments, Sub-Registrar offices, Revenue Authorities, Municipal Corporations, and other statutory bodies for approvals and legal documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

- LL.B. (Mandatory); LL.M. will be an added advantage.
- 2-3 years of experience in the legal function of a real estate developer or law firm handling real estate matters.
- Robust experience in redevelopment projects, title due diligence, land acquisition, and property documentation.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple legal matters and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
