Job Description
Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading contracting and construction company based in the UAE to recruit a highly skilled Senior Rebar Detailer who will lead the preparation and coordination of reinforcement detailing for complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in reinforcement detailing, robust technical expertise in reinforced concrete structures, and the ability to oversee detailing quality while mentoring junior team members. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, project, and site teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and constructible reinforcement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of detailed reinforcement shop drawings for reinforced concrete structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Interpret structural and engineering drawings to develop comprehensive reinforcement detailing for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, and other structural elements.
- Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), ensuring precise quantities,



dimensions, and fabrication details.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, project managers, site engineers, fabricators, and contractors to resolve technical queries and detailing challenges.
- Review and approve reinforcement detailing completed by junior detailers, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Identify and resolve reinforcement clashes and constructability issues before project execution using relevant detailing software.
- Revise drawings and detailing packages based on engineering changes, RFIs, site feedback, and client comments.
- Ensure all reinforcement detailing complies with applicable standards such as ACI, BS, Eurocode, and IS Codes.
- Optimize reinforcement layouts to improve constructability, minimize material wastage, and support cost-effective execution.
