Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lectures on core interior design topics including space planning, lighting design, furniture design, and architectural detailing.
- Develop and update course curricula to reflect current industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Mentor students through design projects, studio critiques, and portfolio development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, B.Des or a related field from a recognized institution.
- 2–5 years of skilled experience in interior design, preferably in a design firm, architectural practice, or educational setting.
- Proven teaching or training experience in higher education or vocational institutes is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing original design projects, including residential, commercial, and public spaces.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire creativity, encourage innovation, and support diverse learning styles.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and green building standards (e.g., LEED, GRIHA) is a plus.
