We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in payroll processing and HR finance operations, a strong grasp of statutory compliance, and the ability to collaborate closely with the HR department to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions. About the Role We're looking for a detail-oriented Finance Executive to manage day-to-day financial operations, including office expenses, vendor payments, payroll, and P&L; reporting. Key Responsibilities Office & Operational Expenses

Track, verify, and process office expense claims and reimbursements Maintain accurate records of recurring and one-off office expenditures Flag budget overruns and support cost-control initiatives
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely, accurate payments Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve payment discrepancies Maintain vendor payment schedules and documentation for audit readiness Coordinate with procurement/operations teams on purchase orders and contracts
Payroll Management
Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule, including salary computations, deductions, and reimbursements Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, TDS,



skilled tax, etc.) Maintain employee compensation records and coordinate with HR on new hires, exits, and salary revisions Address payroll-related employee queries and resolve discrepancies Prepare and file payroll-related statutory returns and liaise with auditors/consultants as needed
P&L; Calculation & Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L; statements Track revenue, cost centers, and margins across business lines Support budgeting and forecasting with accurate historical data Provide variance analysis (budget vs. Experience working directly with founders/leadership in a lean finance team Exposure to fundraising documentation or investor reporting Familiarity with GST/TDS filings and other Indian statutory compliance

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (MBA/CA Inter a plus)
~1-2 years of experience in finance/accounts operations, preferably in a startup or SME workplace Hands-on experience with payroll processing and statutory compliance.
~ Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and Excel/Google Sheets Strong understanding of P&L; structure and basic financial reporting High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines independently Good communication skills to coordinate across HR, operations, and leadership
~ Mandatory exposure to statutory compliance and payroll-related regulations,



including Provident Fund (PF), Employees' State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and other applicable labor law requirements.
~ Experience in payroll verification, reconciliation, statutory filings, compliance reporting, and payroll documentation management. Proficiency in payroll management platforms such as GreytHR, Keka, ADP, Spine HR, or similar payroll systems. Working knowledge of accounting and financial software, including Tally ERP, SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent enterprise accounting solutions.
~ Familiarity with HRMS and ERP systems for employee master data management, attendance integration, leave management, and payroll processing.
~ Strong understanding of payroll accounting, salary structures, CTC components, employee benefits administration, and compensation frameworks.
~ Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance while handling sensitive employee and payroll data. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve payroll-related issues efficiently.
~ Understanding of CTC structuring, salary benchmarking, compensation analysis, and employee cost management is desirable.
