· Monitor and enforce site-specific HSE policies, procedures, and regulations.
· Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe practices and conditions.
· Ensure use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
· Lead toolbox talks, induction training, and safety awareness programs for workers and subcontractors.
· Prepare and maintain records of incidents, near-misses, and accidents.
· Investigate all safety incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
· Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to maintain safety compliance.
· Display and maintain relevant safety signages at site.
· Assist in preparing Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, and Method Statements.
· Conduct fire drills, mock evacuations, and emergency preparedness exercises.
· Ensure first aid and emergency response protocols are in place and functional.
· Liaise with statutory bodies for site audits and inspections.
· Keep safety records and documentation up to date for audits and client review.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the site workforce.
Skill:
- Diploma in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety or Bachelor's Degree in a related field. NEBOSH/IOSH certification is highly preferred.
- Deep familiarity with local labour laws, environmental regulations, and statutory safety compliance.
- Proven experience in conducting HSE audits and risk assessments.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and HSE documentation software.
- Solid observational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent ability to train, guide, and motivate labour and contractor staff on safety practices
