Job Description:

Job Title: ITI Fitter (Contract Basis)
Department: Maintenance / Production
Job Type: Contract (6 months / 1 year, extendable based on performance)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ITI Fitter on a contractual basis to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and machinery as per engineering drawings and production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fit and assemble components using hand tools and machines as per drawing/specifications

- Perform maintenance of machines, tools, and mechanical equipment

- Inspect and identify faults in mechanical systems and report to supervisors

- Carry out routine preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks

- Assist in machinery installation and commissioning

- Follow safety protocols and ensure housekeeping standards are maintained

- Maintain proper documentation and log reports





- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure smooth operations

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Robust understanding of mechanical drawings and measuring instruments

- Knowledge of assembly, fitting, welding basics, and fabrication

- Problem-solving attitude with hands-on experience in mechanical tools

- Good physical fitness and willingness to work in a plant/shop floor environment

- Ability to work in shifts and extended hours if required

Eligibility Criteria:

- Qualification: ITI

- Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role (Freshers can be considered based on skill test)

- Age Limit: Below 35 years

- Employment Type: Contractual
