A Tax Services Senior Associate is responsible for utilizing research skills, applying tax foundational knowledge to understand potential tax issues, gathering client information necessary for filing, participating in tax planning, recognizing, and communicating potential risks, preparing tax accrual workpapers and working with tax software applications to complete tax returns for review. In this role,



the Tax Manager will act as the main client contact for general questions and information and may be charged with supervising and reviewing the work of State and Local Tax Associates.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or other relevant field required

Master's degree in accounting beneficial, master's degree in taxation preferred

Experience

~3-5 years of prior experience

~ Preparation and detail review partnership state tax returns and work papers with attention to multistate tax issues such as apportionment, state modifications, nexus and flow-through taxation

~ Researching state tax legislation and assisting with impact on compliance

~ Assisting with engagement workflow management and supervising tax consultants and interns on assigned engagements.

~ Prior experience of preparing and reviewing estimated
