Role & responsibilities

- Supervise overall hospital operations and departmental coordination
- Ensure effective functioning of clinical and non-clinical departments
- Monitor quality patient care and hospital service standards
- Handle patient grievances and critical escalation management
- Ensure adherence to medical protocols, clinical standards, and regulatory norms (e.g., NABH, JCI, MCI/NMC).
- Conduct regular hospital rounds and operational audits
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing, operations, and support services
- Monitor manpower allocation, duty rosters, and departmental discipline
- Ensure compliance with medico-legal, biomedical waste, and infection control protocols
- Prepare MIS reports, operational reports, and management updates
- Manage emergency response systems and crisis situations
- Oversee patient safety initiatives and quality improvement activities
- Support strategic planning and hospital administration functions




- Ensure smooth patient flow, admission, discharge, and transfer processes
- Engage with external stakeholders, including government bodies, insurance partners, and accreditation agencies.
- Analyze and present clinical performance metrics, utilization reports, and strategic dashboards to the board.

Preferred candidate profile

- MBBS with MHA/MBA (Hospital Administration/Healthcare Management) preferred
- 7-10 years of experience in hospital administration/medical operations
- Experience in multispeciality or corporate hospital setup preferred
- Strong knowledge of NABH standards and hospital operations
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to handle hospital operations and emergency situations efficiently
