- Strong understanding of assessment & awarding lifecycle (not generic K12/HE)
- Experience in education assessment / examination boards / evaluation systems
- Experience with grading systems used by boards (WJEC, AQA, Pearson, etc.)
- Knowledge of statistical concepts (normal distribution, sampling, scaling)
- Ability to support data-driven decision-making & analysis
- Robust stakeholder communication (business + evaluation bodies)
- Exposure to workflow systems for evaluation/review processes.
Role descriptions :
- Provide end-to-end expertise in assessment and awarding processes
- Translate raw marks into standardized grades using domain understanding
- Support analysis of grading patterns and standardization across exam series
- Work closely with stakeholders on grade boundary setting and validation
- Interpret and support statistical outputs from psychometric processes
- Enable data aggregation, validation, and insight generation
- Act as a bridge between domain experts (examiners) and technical teams
- Contribute to workflow design for awarding, review, and approval stages
- Ensure alignment with industry standards in assessment reliability and fairness
- Identify improvements in grading accuracy, consistency, and transparency
