Senior Engineer Modelling of Battery Storage Systems

Your tasks:
Modelling of battery energy storage systems (BESS) for Windfarms with Simulink
Modelling of controllers of BESS with Simulink & Simulink System Composer
Validation of the models
Setup of Model-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-loop environmental models contain the BESS
Operation of the Models and analysis of results
Collaboration in agile development teams.





Your qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Energy Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Solid experience in modeling Battery Energy Storage Systems and related systems
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
Experience with Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) simulation environments
Experience in parameter tuning, model commissioning, and result interpretation
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
Self-motivated and structured approach to work
