About the Role

We are hiring an NPD Executive to support our New Product Development team at our Saki Naka facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer — including trainees — who is passionate about product development, eager to learn, and wants to build a career in NPD within a growing manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development Support
- Assist in new product development activities from concept, sampling, and prototyping through to final production
- Prepare and maintain product specifications, drawings, and BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material procurement, samples, and trials
- Support testing, evaluation, and documentation of product prototypes

Process & SOP Adherence
- Follow established NPD SOPs and stage-gate processes for all assigned projects
- Maintain accurate project trackers, activity logs, and milestone records
- Flag deviations from timelines or quality standards to the NPD Manager promptly

Data, Reporting & MIS
- Maintain project trackers and NPD dashboards in MS Excel
- Use VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas for data collation and reporting
- Compile status updates and prepare MIS reports as directed

Cross-functional Coordination




- Liaise with production, quality, procurement, and design teams for project execution
- Follow up with vendors on sample delivery and trial timelines
- Support the NPD Manager in organising review meetings and preparing presentations

Requirements

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
- 1–3 years of experience in NPD, product engineering, or manufacturing; fresh graduates and diploma trainees are welcome to apply
- Basic to intermediate MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, filters)
- Exposure to product drawings, BOM preparation, or CAD tools is an advantage
- Positive written and verbal communication skills in English
- Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and ability to follow structured processes
- Candidates residing nearby or willing to commute to the office location will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
