Job Summary

The Cashier is responsible for handling billing and payment transactions accurately, maintaining cash records, supporting daily accounting activities, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate bills and process customer payments accurately.
- Handle cash, UPI, card, and bank transactions.
- Maintain daily cashbook and transaction records.
- Verify invoices, receipts, and payment details.
- Reconcile cash and payment collections at the end of the day.
- Assist in preparing daily sales and collection reports.
- Coordinate with sales staff and management regarding billing matters.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of transaction records.




- Follow company policies related to cash handling and financial controls.
- Provide courteous and professional service to customers.

Requirements

- Intermediate, Graduate, or equivalent qualification.
- Basic knowledge of computers, MS Excel, and billing software.
- Positive numerical and accounting skills.
- Honest, detail-oriented, and responsible.
- Prior cashier or billing experience preferred; freshers may also apply.
