0–3 Years (Freshers with ITI/Diploma and relevant training are welcome to apply.)

Qualification

- ITI – Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Tool & Die Maker, or equivalent
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of plastic injection moulds is preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plastic injection moulds.
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble injection moulds.
- Polish mould cavities and cores to maintain the required surface finish.
- Repair and replace damaged mould components such as sliders, ejector pins, guide pillars, bushes, inserts, and cooling channels.
- Check mould dimensions using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Ensure proper alignment and fitment of all mould components.
- Maintain mould maintenance records, history cards, and preventive maintenance checklists.
- Coordinate with the Production, Quality, and Tool Room teams to ensure mould readiness.
- Identify root causes of mould failures and implement corrective actions.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain 5S standards in the Tool Room.

Required Skills





- Basic knowledge of plastic injection mould construction and maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of mould dismantling, assembly, and polishing techniques.
- Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mould cooling systems.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, and Dial Gauges.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
