Role Description This full-time Offshore All Types of Fabrication Welder role is a hybrid position based in Mumbai, with some work-from-home flexibility for planning, documentation, and coordination tasks. The welder will perform GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), SMAW (stick), FCAW, and carbon arc gouging on various materials and thicknesses, following engineering drawings, welding procedures, and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include fabricating and repairing offshore structures, piping, and equipment; preparing joints; setting up welding machines; and conducting visual checks on completed welds. The role involves working closely with supervisors and fabrication teams, maintaining welding tools and consumables,



and completing quality and safety records in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Welding and Arc Welding skills, with experience in industrial or offshore environments.
- Candidates should possess TIG Welding (GTAW) skills for precision work on various materials and thicknesses.
- Candidates should possess MIG Welding (GMAW) skills and familiarity with FCAW processes for structural and production welding.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Materials, including properties of carbon steel, alloy steel, and other common fabrication metals.
- Relevant welding certifications (e.g., GTAW, GMAW, SMAW qualifications) from recognized bodies or trade schools.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, welding procedure specifications (WPS), and basic engineering documents.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to offshore and industrial safety standards.
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying environmental conditions; willingness to work shifts as needed.
- Prior experience in offshore, shipyard, heavy fabrication, or oil and gas projects is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
