SAP ABAP Developer – BTP, CAPM, RAP & S/4HANA

Location: Bengaluru | Pune | Hyderabad

Job Summary

GyanSys is looking for experienced SAP ABAP Developers with expertise in SAP S/4HANA, BTP, RAP, and CAPM to design, develop, and implement modern SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building scalable applications, developing custom enhancements, and leveraging SAP's cloud-native technologies to support enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP on S/4HANA.
- Develop enhancements using BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, and CDS Views.
- Build cloud-native applications using SAP BTP and CAPM.
- Develop RESTful applications using RAP.
- Design and consume OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
- Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using BTP Integration Suite and APIs.
- Optimize ABAP programs for HANA performance using CDS, AMDP, and SQL optimization techniques.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and solution architecture.




- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide post-implementation support.

Required Technical Skills

- Robust expertise in SAP ABAP on S/4HANA
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, CAPM, and RAP
- CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and Core ABAP
- Enhancement Framework, BAdIs, User Exits, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms
- Object-Oriented ABAP
- SAP Gateway and REST APIs
- Debugging, performance tuning, and optimization
- Exposure to Git-enabled SAP development is an advantage

Preferred Skills

- Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5
- Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite
- Exposure to SAP Cloud Foundry environment
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Experience working on end-to-end SAP implementation projects

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

- Domain Experience: 3–5 Years
- Relevant Experience: 0–8+ Years

Preferred Certifications

- SAP Certified Development Associate – ABAP
- SAP BTP Extension Suite Certification
- SAP S/4HANA Development Certification
