Key responsibilities Process oversight and optimization Supervise chemical production processes from raw materials to finished products and develop plans to improve efficiency and quality Quality control Ensure that final products meet strict quality and customer specifications through laboratory tests and by coordinating with the quality control department Safety and compliance Implement and maintain safety procedures environmental regulations and quality management systems e g GMP ISO Troubleshooting Investigate and resolve production deviations and issues to prevent future problems Documentation Maintain accurate records including batch manufacturing records BMRs log books and calibration records Collaboration Coordinate with other teams including quality assurance warehouse and production operators to ensure timely and efficient production Training Train and assist junior chemists and operators on test procedures and production guidelines Required skills and qualifications Education Typically requires a bachelor s or master s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Knowledge Robust knowledge of chemistry chemical processes and laboratory equipment Skills Excellent organizational critical-thinking and problem-solving skills Experience Experience in a production environment preferably within a specific industry e g cosmetics pharmaceuticals colorants is often preferred Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Pay 20 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
