Position Design Engineer - Special Purpose Machinery Automation Product Development Piping and Conveyor Systems Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer with expertise in special purpose machinery structural analysis product development piping engineering conveyor systems and pulley mechanisms Proficiency in Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams P ID and Process Flow Diagrams PFD is essential for this role as it involves detailed design work process development and technical documentation Key Responsibilities Design and Development Conceptualize design and develop special purpose machinery focusing on conveyor systems and pulley integration for efficient operations Structural and Piping Analysis Conduct detailed structural and piping analysis to meet durability safety and efficiency standards Product Development Lead product development initiatives from initial concept through testing ensuring product viability and compliance with industry standards P ID and PFD Creation Develop interpret and review P ID and PFD diagrams to support piping and machinery design ensuring clarity in process flow and instrumentation requirements Conveyor System Design Design conveyor systems including the integration of pulleys motor selection and capacity calculations ensuring efficiency and reliability 3D Modeling and Drafting Create and maintain detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software for machinery piping layouts and process flow diagrams Material Selection Determine materials for machinery components piping and conveyor systems based on performance cost and environmental conditions Prototype and Testing Collaborate with teams to prototype test and refine designs ensuring they meet functional requirements Documentation and Reporting Prepare engineering documentation including P IDs PFDs BOMs and testing reports to maintain a clear and organized design record Collaboration Work closely with project managers manufacturing and development teams to align design objectives and timelines Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to enhance designs for improved performance cost savings and ease of manufacturing Qualifications Education Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience Minimum of 3-4 years in design engineering with a focus on machinery piping conveyor systems and P ID PFD diagrams Technical Skills Proficiency in CAD software e g SolidWorks AutoCAD Inventor Knowledge of P ID and PFD creation and interpretation Robust understanding of FEA Finite Element Analysis for structural analysis Experience in conveyor systems and pulley mechanics Solid knowledge of piping standards material selection and product development Soft Skills Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities Preferred Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations for machinery piping and process flow design Job Type Full-time Pay 25 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided
