JOB DESCRIPTION About KPMG in India KPMG entities in India are professional services firm s These Indian member firms are affiliated with KPMG International Limited KPMG was established in India in August 1993 Our professionals leverage the global network of firms and are conversant with local laws regulations markets and competition KPMG has offices across India in Ahmedabad Bengaluru Chandigarh Chennai Gurugram Jaipur Hyderabad Jaipur Kochi Kolkata Mumbai Noida Pune Vadodara and Vijayawada KPMG entities in India offer services to national and international clients in India across sectors We strive to provide rapid performance-based industry-focused and technology-enabled services which reflect a shared knowledge of global and local industries and our experience of the Indian business setting ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES o Design reliable scalable highly available ML solutions o Formulate model-based solutions by utilizing machine learning optimization and simulation techniques o Design adapt and visualize solutions based on evolving requirements and communicate them through presentations scenarios and stories o Ability to pick up domain knowledge through discussions with client business counterparts internal external literature and utilize it to develop solutions and ML models Analyze scenarios across various industries and understand business objectives o Perform literature survey to determine best applicable techniques machine learning and modeling techniques Simplify and present solutions and ideas o Make a business case for utilizing machine learning articulate visualize and present insights from the models in business terms familiar to customers confidently provide recommendations to management write presentations reports and working papers in power point word or excel o Work with multiple business functions and industry verticals to create proof of concepts POCs Minimum Viable Products MVPs etc and guiding customers through to production deployment and operationalization of projects o Work independently with business stakeholders and senior leaders along with a cross-functional team o Lead mentor and direct cross functional teams comprising data scientist data engineers business analysts and quality analysts o Manage client interactions project and scope negotiations and resource management on an ongoing basis manage conflicts and tradeoffs o Spot opportunities for business development with existing and new clients and work on proposals with machine learning and business lens communicate ideas effectively while making a strong business case THE INDIVIDUAL o Hands-on experience and expertise in python and various ML libraries to develop machine learning models and extensive data wrangling machine learning and MLOPs experience on Azure AWS or GCP good understanding of utilizing compute clusters instances and databricks o Deep understanding of MLOps and machine learning lifecycle from data cleaning feature engineering model development experimentation deployment and monitoring o Demonstrable implementation of machine learning algorithms to solve business problems o Good grasp of programming in python experience of data structures algorithms and OOPS concepts o Ability to translate and structure and design model-based solutions based on vague business problems is a must have o Managed and worked on ML projects with scrum agile framework and methodology with experience in planning resourcing scheduling and project reporting o Led and managed cross functional data science teams on a day-to-day basis created long term and short-term plans o Managed direct interactions with clients and customer individuals including negotiations and conflicts o Ability to visualize analyze validate and articulate results using power point excel and or word documents o Open to exploring new tools and techniques for implementation o Strong problem solving and logical approach skills o Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong communication interpersonal and report writing skills o Ability to work well in teams mentor others and learn from team members with equal openness and enthusiasm o Ability to work under pressure -
