The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the mechanical design and engineering of large-scale water and wastewater treatment projects including pumping stations treatment systems and distribution networks The role requires deep technical expertise strong project management capabilities and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders Key Responsibilities Lead mechanical design and engineering for water treatment plants wastewater systems and pumping stations Develop detailed designs for mechanical systems pipework equipment layouts and rotating machinery Manage end-to-end project execution planning design installation testing and commissioning Oversee preparation and review of technical documents BOQs specifications and tender packages Provide technical leadership mentor junior engineers and ensure high-quality engineering output Collaborate with clients contractors and cross-functional teams to meet project objectives Ensure compliance with national and international standards safety norms and project requirements Support testing troubleshooting commissioning and performance verification at site Required Qualifications Skills Degree in Mechanical Engineering Master s preferred 10 years of relevant experience in water wastewater engineering design Solid understanding of mechanical systems pumps rotating equipment sensors and control integration Proficiency in mechanical design and analysis tools PLM and relevant engineering software Strong leadership project coordination and communication skills
