About the Role - :

- Cosmetics is looking for a highly experienced Senior Accounts & Finance Manager to lead the company-s end-to-end accounting, finance, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting.
- The ideal candidate should have solid experience in D2C, e-commerce, and marketplace accounting with complete ownership of financial operations and business profitability.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Accounting

- * Manage complete accounting operations from journal entries to finalization of books.
- * Maintain General Ledger, Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- * Ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial records.
- * Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.

2. E-commerce & Marketplace Accounting

- * Handle accounting for Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Myntra, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, and other sales channels.
- * Reconcile marketplace settlements and payment reports.
- * Verify commissions, marketplace fees, reimbursements, returns, and claims.
- * Monitor COD collections and payment reconciliations.

3. GST, TDS & Taxation

- * Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time.
- * Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings.
- * Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations.
- * Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors.
- * Manage notices and assessments from tax authorities.

4. Accounts Payable & Receivable

- * Process vendor invoices and payments.
- * Manage customer receivables and collections.
- * Monitor outstanding balances and aging reports.




- * Ensure timely vendor and supplier payments.

5. Banking & Cash Flow

- * Manage bank reconciliations.
- * Prepare daily cash flow reports.
- * Forecast working capital requirements.
- * Monitor fund utilization and optimize cash management.

6. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)

- * Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial dashboards.
- * Analyze revenue, expenses, gross margins, and profitability.
- * Monitor department-wise budgets and actual spending.
- * Support management with financial planning and decision-making.

7. Payroll & Employee Compliance

- * Process monthly payroll.
- * Ensure statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, Qualified Tax, and Labour Laws.
- * Manage employee reimbursements and expense claims.

8. Audit & Compliance

- * Coordinate statutory, internal, GST, and tax audits.
- * Maintain complete financial documentation.
- * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

9. Inventory & Cost Accounting

- * Reconcile inventory with warehouse and ERP records.
- * Monitor inventory valuation and COGS.
- * Track production costs, purchase costs, and landed costs.
- * Improve inventory accuracy and cost control.

10. Budgeting & Profitability

- * Prepare annual and monthly budgets.




- * Monitor business profitability and cost optimization.
- * Analyze SKU-wise, marketplace-wise, and channel-wise profitability.
- * Support strategic financial planning.

11. Team Coordination

- * Work closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Warehouse, HR, and Leadership teams.
- * Coordinate with external Chartered Accountants, auditors, banks, and government authorities.

Skills Required

- * Strong expertise in accounting principles and financial reporting.
- * Advanced knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- * Experience in Tally Prime, Zoho Books, Busy, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
- * Strong analytical, reconciliation, and financial planning skills.
- * Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- * High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Experience

- * 6-10 years of experience in finance and accounting.
- * Experience with skincare, beauty, cosmetics, FMCG, or D2C brands.
- * Hands-on experience with marketplace accounting for Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Myntra, Blinkit, and Shopify.
- * Experience managing companies with annual revenues of -20 crore+.
