Role & responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with government authorities.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies including Drug Control Administration (DCA), CDSCO, Pollution Control Board, Factory Inspectorate, Fire Department, Labour Department, Boiler Inspectorate, Electricity Board, Municipal Authorities, and other statutory agencies.
- Ensure timely procurement and renewal of licenses, permits, registrations, and statutory approvals.
- Monitor compliance with applicable pharmaceutical, environmental, labour, and factory regulations.
- Represent the organization during inspections, audits, and meetings with government officials.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Engineering, EHS, HR, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, and Finance departments to ensure smooth regulatory compliance.
- Maintain statutory records, licenses, correspondence,
and compliance documentation.
- Track regulatory changes and advise management on their business impact.
- Handle land, utility, infrastructure, and local administration-related coordination when required.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with industry associations and external stakeholders.
- Lead and mentor the liaisoning team and allocate responsibilities effectively.
- Prepare compliance reports, MIS, and status updates for senior management.
- Ensure ethical and transparent liaisoning practices in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Preferred candidate profile
Master's or Bachelor's degree with min 8yrs exp in liaisoning in pharma industry.
