Qualification: B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering
Location: Puducherry (Thirubhuvanai)
Responsibilities:
- Raise and release Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP/MRP
- Ensure timely material availability for production
- Follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery
- Avoid production stoppage due to material shortage
- Coordinate with planning/production team
- Monitor and clear material shortages
- Negotiate with suppliers (price, payment, delivery)
- Work on cost reduction (SOB / alternate source)
- Maintain positive supplier relationship
- Control inventory and avoid excess stock
- Maintain proper records and system updates
Desired Profile:
- Candidate from auto components industry background preferred
- Strong in vendor and supplier management
- Good in communication and coordination
- Skilled in data management and negotiation
