JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Assistant / Deputy Production Manager
Reports to: Factory Manager
Location: Ranipet, Tamil Nadu

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning and Control:
• Develop and implement production plans, ensuring on-time delivery and meeting customer requirements.
• Monitor production progress, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and issues.
2. Quality and Efficiency:
• Ensure high-quality production, implementing quality control measures and monitoring defect rates.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
3. Team Leadership:
• Lead and develop a team of production supervisors and operators, providing guidance, trainning, and feedback.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employee engagement and participation.
4. Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement process improvements, using lean manufacturing principles and other tools.




• Communicate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement.
5. Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure a safe working environment, complying with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and report on safety performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / production engineering OR Special course on Operations Management.
• Experience: 10-12 years of experience in production management, preferably in the automotive OR HVAC sector.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools.
