Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Product Photographer & Retoucher who will be solely responsible to work with the marketing team and lead the visual asset creation for our watch brand. In this role, you will own the entire production pipelinefrom conceptualizing and setting up the studio lighting to executing high-end, complex post-production.

Because watches present unique challenges involving highly reflective surfaces, intricate dial elements, and mixed materials (polished steel, sapphire crystal, leather, and lume), we require a candidate who is a master of both lighting geometry and hyper-detailed digital compositing. You must have a proven track record of handling your own post-processing to a luxury standard.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Production: Independently manage the setup, shooting, and complete post-processing of all product imagery (including clean e-commerce white-background shots, macro detail shots, and styled lifestyle/creative setups).
- Reflection & Lighting Control: Utilize advanced studio lighting techniques to precisely control and manipulate reflections on metallic and glass surfaces.
- Advanced Post-Processing: Execute high-end luxury retouching, including multi-exposure compositing, focus stacking, color matching,



and meticulous cloning/healing of microscopic imperfections.
- Texture Preservation: Ensure the distinct characteristics of different materials (e.g., brushed vs. polished stainless steel, ceramic, sapphire crystal, and leather) are accurately preserved and enhanced in post-production.
- Asset Management: Deliver pixel-perfect, color-accurate, and properly sized web-ready and print-ready files, maintaining a highly organized digital asset library.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

- Experience: 4-5+ years of experience in commercial product photography specifically focused on watches, fine jewelry, high-end cosmetics, or luxury alcohol.
- Macro Mastery: Deep understanding of macro photography, depth of field management, and focus stacking workflows.
- Expert Retouching: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, with a portfolio that demonstrates a heavy emphasis on solo, high-end product editing.
- Lighting Expertise: Mastery of studio lighting reflectors etc.
- Detail Obsession: An uncompromising eye for micro-details, with the patience required to spend hours removing dust, lint, and micro-scratches at a pixel level.
