We are looking for a skilled Business Systems Analyst with strong experience in the travel domain to bridge business requirements and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to GDS platforms, end-to-end travel operations, and a strong technical understanding of data and integrations in a fast-paced environment. This position is based in Bengaluru / India (Hybrid) and requires 7+ years of experience.

Roles and Responsibility

- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Analyze and document travel business processes including reservations, ticketing, EMD, exchanges refunds.
- Work extensively with GDS systems (Sabre/Amadeus/Travelport) for booking, pricing, shopping, fare quotes, and ticketing workflows.
- Support NDC integrations and API mapping, including analysis of JSON and XML payloads.
- Perform data analysis using SQL and other data tools to support business decisions.
- Create clear documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and use cases.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Drive process optimization and efficiency improvements in dynamic,



high-volume environments and support stakeholders with data visualization, reporting, and insights.

Job Requirements

- Strong travel domain experience, preferably with travel agencies.
- Hands-on expertise in GDS systems: Sabre, Amadeus, and/or Travelport.
- Solid understanding of reservations, ticketing, EMD, exchanges refunds, pricing, shopping, fare quotes, and NDC concepts and implementations.
- Experience with API mapping and integrations, proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and travel-related datasets.
- Working knowledge of JSON and XML data formats.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Exposure to travel-specific platforms and booking engines is beneficial.
- Prior experience working in agile or quick-paced delivery environments is advantageous.
