Job Description:

A Payment Posting Specialist in Medical Billing is responsible for accurately recording and posting payments received from insurance companies, patients, and other payers into the billing system. The role involves reviewing Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), reconciling payments with patient accounts, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring that accounts are updated in a timely manner. Payment Posting specialists work closely with billing and accounts receivable teams to resolve payment issues, maintain accurate financial records, and support overall revenue cycle management. Attention to detail, knowledge of medical billing processes, and proficiency with billing software are essential for success in this role.

Skills Required:

Medical Billing Knowledge:



Understanding of medical billing processes, insurance claims, and Explanation of Benefits (EOB).

Data Entry & Accuracy: Ability to accurately post payments and update patient accounts.

Analytical Skills: Identify discrepancies in payments and resolve them efficiently.

Software Proficiency: Experience with medical billing software (e.g., Medisoft, Kareo, Epic) and MS Excel.

Attention to Detail: Ensure all financial records are exact and up to date.

Experience: 2 to 4 years

Qualification: Any Degree

Salary: Above 19k per month
