As a Global Incidence Planning and Operations Manager at the specified company, you will have the following key responsibilities:- Lead the development and governance of enterprise-wide cyber wargaming, tabletop exercise, and incident readiness programs aligned with business objectives and enterprise risk management strategies.- Design, facilitate, and execute cyber tabletop exercises, red/blue team simulations, and strategic wargames to validate incident response capabilities and organizational resilience.- Develop realistic threat scenarios, exercise injects, playbooks, scripts, and after-action review processes by incorporating current threat intelligence and emerging cyber risks.- Provide strategic leadership for incident response planning, readiness governance, and operational resilience by defining priorities, success metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.- Evaluate organizational incident response capabilities, identify operational gaps, and drive remediation plans, maturity roadmaps, and accountability across cross-functional stakeholders.- Lead executive-level (CXO) cyber exercises, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations that enhance decision-making, crisis management, and business continuity.- Partner with Enterprise Information Security, Risk, Technology, and business teams across global regions to strengthen incident readiness, improve coordination, and promote knowledge sharing.- Build trusted relationships with regional and global stakeholders, ensuring consistent incident preparedness, governance alignment, and effective collaboration during high-impact security events.- Monitor evolving cyber threats, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to continuously modernize incident response plans, playbooks,
and operational processes.- Champion operational excellence by integrating lessons learned from real-world incidents and exercises, driving measurable improvements in cyber resilience, readiness, and enterprise security posture.Qualifications required for this role include:- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.- 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong expertise in incident response, threat management, cyber resilience, or security operations.- Proven experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating cyber tabletop exercises, wargames, and incident response simulations.- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and industry standards, including NIST, MITRE ATT&CK;, Cyber Resilience Index (CRI), and related best practices.- Demonstrated experience in information security risk management, security audits, control assessments, and risk evaluation methodologies.- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and technical writing skills, with the ability to translate complex security concepts for technical and executive audiences.- Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional and global teams, influencing stakeholders and driving outcomes without direct authority.- Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities with expertise in incident readiness, operational resilience,
and continuous process improvement.- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIH, GCFA, CEH, CySA, or equivalent cybersecurity credentials are highly preferred.- Prior experience working within global, matrix-managed organizations, with the ability to coordinate cybersecurity initiatives across multiple regions and business functions.
