About the Role:
We are hiring a Lab Incharge to lead the Quality Control & Assurance function at ourclient's modern cattle feed manufacturing plant in Gujarat. The role will ensure that raw materials, in-process production, and finished products consistently meet stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, testing, and analysis.
- Implement and monitor quality control systems for raw materials and finished feed.
- Conduct nutritional, chemical, and microbiological testing as per industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to BIS, FSSAI, and other regulatory compliances.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Lead and train lab technicians to maintain testing accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to resolve quality issues.
Candidate Profile:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry,
Animal Nutrition, or related field.
- 5–10 years’ experience in a QC/QA laboratory, preferably in cattle feed, food, agro, or process industries.
- Solid knowledge of quality testing protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership ability to manage lab teams and ensure compliance.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, with strong problem-solving skills.
